New Merger of airlines and hotel chains - a supply chain study

During the past one year, many many important airlines and chain stores joined together, including American Airlines (AA) & US Airways, SPG & Marriott, Alaska & Virgin, Walgreen & drugstore.com, etc.

The air bus between the city hubs is already operated. We can have one flight every 2 hours. So it will be easier to postpone your flight, if you get late & use a brand airline.

Because of the progress on operations research and data analysis, we can enhance the speed and make the network more flexible. Then the future study will focus on the inner node independent and self-active, to avoid the accidents such as Amtrak.
